Narrative Summary: High-use (Picture 723021, 723026). Well defined route. Main access to area. Motorcycle, mountain bike, ATV and full-size vehicle tracks. No center vegetation.
Wildlife and Vegetation: Sagebrush and bitterbrush. Paintbrush, lupine, sulfur buckwheat and phlox.
Recommendations: Continue current management. On inventory, change location N2828 reflecting that it is actually located to east, not the west (Picture 723022, 723023).
Route Description: Z1775 is a lengthy route that leaves Coyote Creek as it heads to the NW. Surveyed here is only a section for 1.5 miles from the Coyote Valley Route.

Narrative Summary: Moderate-use route with motorbikes, ATVs, and full sized vehicles using it. Rocky, steep in sections passable by 4x4 vehicles. One foot high slow-growing central vegetation.
Several routes spur off this route in the first mile. N2650 is a looping route that heads west of Z1775. No recent use. N2651 heads NE to a mine site and also shows low use.
Recommendations: This is a well-established moderate-use route with no real problems. It is a more established route than it's eastern counterpart, Z1780. It should be maintained as a motorized route.
Route Description: Route loops northwest then southwest off the Coyote Valley Road just north of the confluence of the east and west forks of Coyote creek. Connects with Z1775 WNW of confluence (Picture 723005).

Narrative Summary: Low use route redundantly connecting the Coyote Valley Road (07S10) to Z1775 and points east. Route is rocky and steep in sections with 2' high sagebrush in center. (Pictures 723006, 723007, 723013 & 723015). Remnant motorbike tracks were found amidst many wildflowers.
Recommendations: No significant damage was found along route and it does not pose any problems. Nevertheless, this route does not allow the only access to camps or points of interest and shows very low use. Continue current management.
Route Description: Z1858 parallels 08S18 and allows alternate access to Coyote Lake.

*shown as 4WD route
Narrative Summary: This route is poorly defined and low use (Picture 723028,
723029). Grazing was
observed along route through meadows and alpine vegetation.
Recommendations: This route in alpine terrain is hard to follow as it is poorly established. Much like poorly defined routes in desert sand, this offers opportunities for unintentional proliferation as motorists search for the route. Grazing access may be the main purpose of this route; otherwise it does not provide the only access to areas. A section of 08S18 enters into an unstable crossing (Picture 724035) and this route provides the primary access to Coyote Lake and points west. Z1858 could provide alternate access should this crossing prove damaging enough to justify closure of this section of 08S18.
Route Description: Z2785 travels northwest off of Z1780 in a small complex of routes west of the Coyote Valley (Picture 723008).

Narrative Summary: Poorly defined route. Very low use. High and significant center vegetation. Use deteriorates as route heads north and ends abruptly in canyon (Pictures 723009 & 723010).
Recommendations: This spur route has no clear purpose and is not very defined. Do not include on inventory.
